- Seal edges with silicone around sinks for example, to stop the vinyl from lifting
- Repositionable during application due to our water-based adhesive
- Durable but take care with hot pans and knives (use worktop savers)
- Wipe clean with a soft cloth and regular household cleaners
- Fully removable, peel back, a hairdryer can be used to soften the adhesive
Top Tips
Purchasing a longer length, helps avoid joins and minimises waste.
67.5cm x 3m roll is a good size for most worktops.
There are huge savings when you buy one of our ‘box buys’ compared with a single roll price.
Use the grid on the backing paper to help cut straight lines.
Cut the film larger than the area to be covered and trim away excess (instead of trying to cut exactly to size).
Only peel a small section of backing paper at a time, then smooth from side to side. Don’t peel the backing off in one go (could be disastrous)!
If you make a mistake carefully peel back the film (avoiding stretching it too much) and re-apply.
When applying a woodgrain, ensure the grain is going in the right direction (along the length of the worktop).
For shiny surfaces like gloss doors and fridges, spray water onto the surface prior to application and push excess water out to the edges.
To cut around a sink, cut a X to feed the tap and drainer through, push the film into the edges of the drainer and trim away the excess.
Heat from a hairdryer helps wrap around curved edges like worktops.
To protect your vinyl, do not put hot pans down or drag sharp edges on it, note vinyl can be easily removed and replaced if needed.

After ordering alot of samples we choose this wrap for our kitchen surfaces. Its very easy to use and upgraded our kitchen for under £50.
We wrapped our surface in the sunmer of 2023. I have just re ordered 2 more rolls to re do 2 of the 4 work surfaces, the wrap is still going strong, however a little faded and where our dog counter surfaces there are a few scratches but overall really impressed with DC fix wrap!
